Many thanks and gratitude to Long Island Spay & Neuter on Rt 112 in Medford. What a great animal hospital and everyone is so caring! On September 26th, one of my 7 feral cats, "Red" (about 14 months old) showed up for dinner with a degloved tail, completely exposing the bloody vertebrae. Next early morning took Red to LI Spay & Neuter where Dr. Berger did surgery to amputate about 3" of his tail under general anesthesia and gave him pain meds, antibiotic, and all his booster shots. The doctor is awesome great!! The staff is wonderful and it didn't cost an arm and a leg!! I advise and refer anyone with ferals to definitely go there for whatever you may need. As a matter of fact, bring all your fur-babies there when they need medical attention!! Check out the pics of the injury, in his crate in our house post surgery, and next day. Red is doing just great!! Very thankful!!
